As the top provider of Sat nav test-routes in the UK, we provide numerous routes for Garmin and Tom Tom devices. For customers that want to buy Sat-Nav devices, we definitely recommend the Tomtom Start 52, mainly because it is the leading choice for the Southall (London) driving test examiners.

Sat-nav Driving Test

Whilst conducting the independent driving test, the examiner will ask the student to take directions from the satNav. The examiner will bring a configured tomtom Start 52 device. All you’ll have to do is to follow instructions from the device. The model or make of the Satnav device that you’ll use in your learning sessions won’t make a difference one bit. As a top tier Sat nav company, we supply test routes for iPhone, Android, Tomtom and Garmin devices. You can’t use your personal Sat nav in the driving examination.

Practice

We like to provide customers with a lot of help and support with Route-Led's routes. You’ll speedily become skilled at the different routes provided. However, we definitely recommend having a person that is a skilled instructor.

Independent Driving Test

In the course of the independent driving test, the examiner will give the learner all the necessary directions. In case the learner becomes lost during the journey, they will need to confirm the instructions from the test examiner. Learners can’t use their own SatNav devices for independent driving as they give turn by turn instructions. Independent driving will check the ability of the learner to make independent decisions.
