Independent Driving Test
During your driving examination, the examiner will choose a particular route on the SatNav. You will be expected to use the route selected by the examiner in addition to the directions from the Sat-nav. The make and model of the device won’t matter, this is because Route-Led's test-routes work with many different devices. You cannot use your own SatNav device during the driving test. For more information, you can get recent changes to the driving test here.
Route-LED provides clients with a high degree of support and help to use Route-LED's driving test-routes. You will get accustomed to all the different sections of the roads to be travelled during the examination. We would suggest using a knowledgeable driving instructor in addition. For extra free information on what you can do to practise for your driving examination please visit Driving Test Practice
In the course of the independent driving test, the examiner will provide the learner all the relevant directions. If the student becomes confused during the journey, they will need to get confirmation on the instructions from the examiner. Students can’t utilise their own Sat-nav for independent driving because they give turn-by-turn instructions. Independent driving will check the skill of the examinee to make independent choices.
